Fly Up Day

Well, I'm officially old.

Yesterday was the 5th grade Fly Up Ceremony, at which they marked their transition to middle school. Yes, that's right, I have a baby in middle school now. Oh, but it gets worse: did you know he's going to be in the Class of 2018? I'm not sure I was even aware that one could count that high.

The Class of 2018.

The scary thing is, you just know I'm going to blink my eyes and we'll be there already.

Congratulations! And get back to me on the old thing when he moves out and joins the navy. You'll have to excuse me now, I think I need a glass of wine now just thinking about it!

Congratulations! I remember my Fly Up Day last year, and first day of middle school. It's a lot of work, and I'm relieved it's finally over, but Shay will be fine. He made it this far!

When I first saw the 18 on the shirts, I was confused... it actually took a minute for it to register what it meant... wow.. :D It was a great school year and very nice ceremony!

Please. Write your own stuff.
