Some Pictures of Our Day

Here they are in the playground during the Back to School picnic. One is very excited; the other quite nervous. Can you guess which is which?

Here's Aidan in his super-cool classroom. Seriously, I'd go back to school if I got a room like this. See the birds back there? You can't see the fish tank. In the second picture, you can see the "Bat Cave," which is the bottom of a bunk bed. The kids can climb up into the bunk bed or into the Bat Cave to read.

Both boys were all smiles when they got off the bus. No pictures of that, but you might remember the fancy bus from last year at this time. Same bus.

Tomorrow, I have to get the whole tribe to the bus stop by 7:45. Should be interesting to see if we make it.

That looks like an AWESOME school!

I empathize about school bus and timings.... ours picks up Riley at 7:15 am (we're the 1st stop) and drops her off at 4:45 pm. That's one long day for a kindergartner...

Hi Donna -- glad to find you "online." LOL We are finishing up here in a couple of weeks -- can't believe how quickly 4 years went. New "digs" here have settled down and there are trees, grass, and we've had a veggie garden for the second summer in a row! We'll be in Washington for a few weeks to finish things up, and then head to the mountains to wait for all out stuff to come out of three different storage places! Now that I have your URL here I'll check in often to see how you and your kids are doing! Much love, Maryjo

What a beautiful school. As I remember the best thing about my kindergarten experience was a stinky hamster.

Please. Write your own stuff.
